"Agreement" refers to the contractual relationship established between Portugal Unlocked and the Client upon acceptance of these Terms and engagement of our Services.
Portugal Unlocked provides comprehensive relocation services for individuals and families moving to Portugal. Our services may include, but are not limited to:
Visa and immigration consultation and application assistanceProperty search and acquisition supportSettlement services and bureaucratic assistance
Cultural orientation and integration guidance.
The specific services to be provided will be outlined in a separate Service Agreement or proposal provided to you following your initial consultation.
As a Client of Portugal Unlocked, you agree to:
Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information as required for the provision of our Services
Respond to our communications and requests for information in a timely manner
Make all payments as agreed and on schedule
Comply with all Portuguese laws and regulationsTreat our staff and partners with respect and professionalism
Take responsibility for your final decisions regarding property purchases, visa applications, and other significant choices, even when based on our recommendations.
Our fee structure will be clearly communicated to you before you engage our Services. Unless otherwise specified:
Initial consultations may be subject to a fee, which will be communicated to you at the time of booking
Service fees are typically structured as fixed packages or hourly rates, depending on the nature of the service
Additional expenses incurred on your behalf (government fees, translation costs, etc.) will be passed on to you without markup
Payment terms, methods, and schedules will be outlined in your Service AgreementLate payments may result in service suspension and late payment fees.
All content on our Website and in our communications, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Portugal Unlocked or our content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of our materials is strictly prohibited.
We respect your privacy and will maintain the confidentiality of all personal and financial information you provide to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Portugal Unlocked provides guidance and assistance based on our expertise and experience, but we cannot guarantee specific outcomes such as visa approvals or property transactions. By using our Services, you acknowledge that:
Final decisions rest with government authorities, property sellers, and other third parties
We are not liable for delays or rejections by government agencies or other third parties
Our liability is limited to the amount of fees paid for the specific service in questionWe are not liable for consequential, incidental, indirect, or special damages
Force majeure events beyond our reasonable control may affect service delivery.
In providing our Services, we may recommend or connect you with third-party service providers such as lawyers, banks, or property managers. While we make these recommendations in good faith:
We are not responsible for the services provided by these third partiesAny contracts you enter with these providers are separate from your Agreement with usWe do not receive undisclosed commissions from these providers unless explicitly stated.
Either party may terminate the Agreement under the following conditions:By the Client:
With 30 days' written notice
Subject to payment for services already rendered and any non-refundable fees as outlined in our Refund Policy By Portugal Unlocked:
With 30 days' written noticeImmediately in case of Client's material breach of these TermsIf we reasonably determine we cannot provide the requested Services.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Portugal. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Portugal.Before initiating any legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve any disputes through good-faith negotiation and mediation.
Portugal Unlocked reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify clients of any significant changes. Your continued use of our Services following such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.
